Here are some selections of the adventures I've gone on.  Most of the photos are my own taken with various models of iphone. 

Iceland. Olivia and I traveled through Iceland on Wow Air and loved the airport layover. Decided we HAD to visit. This was the best trip of my life. We lived in a camper van. Drove all the way around the island, following the sunshine. Full album: here.  

Went to Nicaragua for a couple weeks around New Years 2015.  Last minute and unplanned it was nevertheless awesome.  I lost my iPhone in a volcano!  Well not in per se, but as far as I can reconstruct most likely right on the rim of Volcan Masaya.  Lessons learned:  leave your data plan on so that it can call home its GPS position.  And since I lost my phone halfway through, some of these photos are courtesy of Divya.  Full album: here.  

In the spring of 2013, Ray DiCiaccio and I attempted a through hike of the Sierra High Route.  We made it two thirds of the way, about 160 miles. The Sierra High Route is an off trail, alpine zone route which requires navigation between landmarks.  We survived.  Lessons learned:  bring a tent when making camp at 12k feet (we went ultralight).   Full album: here.
